Announcing Evolve 5.0

Hello ALIFE Weirdos!

I'm Back. My last blog post about my alife software was in 2007!

Why am I back? What is back? Who the hell am I? Why am I still alive? These are all good questions, which I'll get to in a bit.

I am announcing the next version of Evolve 4.0, which is to be called Evolve 5.0. I am almost done with the port to its new platform (MacOS).

I rewrote the simulator for the Mac. It is a MacOS native applications written using C, Swift and Xcode. It is being written as an NSDocument application. Using SwiftUI but not the newer Storyboard stuff.

One Year Of Alife: Day 5616

Well it has been 5562 days since my last ALIFE update. Heh heh heh. I decided that one year of alife wasn't enough. So, I decided to try 15 years of alife. Nothing evolved, except me, the planet and technology.
